THE GAFF The Gaff is a lifelong DJ with tight skills & cuts, a lengthy list of accomplishments, tonnes of dope records, heart & class. One foot in the future, and one foot in the past. The Gaff's purpose is in elevating Hip Hop, Dance, Club and Electronic Sounds to a level easily combined with Funk, Soul & Jazz. The result is amazing live performances & instrumental productions, giving a story of music which ebbs and flows. The Gaff has rocked parties and clubs worldwide: either by all vinyl 45 sets, or destroying it with tight scratching, live drumming on the sampler, and turntable kung fu. A teacher of the essential, peers and fans alike are often caught overlooking The Gaff's shoulder to see just what it is he’s up to.

The Gaff is often referred to as A DJ's' DJ, cited as a top favorite amongst some of the world’s best & titled by peers as one of Canada's greatest. As a DJ, Gaff has won battles & voters contests alike, As a producer, Gaff has made best seller lists & his tunes played the world over. His production rose to new heights once graduating from his trusty sampler: the Ensoniq ASR 10, to Ableton Live, his tracks have been used by World Class Dj's at shows around the globe to get the party started, & to keep it going...with releases on various labels (Do It With Soul, Motown On Monday, Big M, Air, Katakana, & Punchout/Homebreakin), add onto that steady requests for Remix Production, a Solo Album in the works, the future is bringing The Gaff always up the cutting edge of his own next level.

Born In Washington D.C. U.S.A, Gaff was raised in Victoria B.C., Canada, honing his skills throughout the turn of the century on Radio and at all the major hip hop shows, he relocated to Saskatoon in 2002 to raise his family.......Gaff has Warmed it up for & oftentimes played right alongside notable Dj's & Producers Such as: Questlove, Z-Trip, Dj Shadow, World DMC Champ Roc Raida (RIP), Just Blaze, Nu-Mark, Cut Chemist, Dj Maseo of De La Soul, Ali Shahied Muhammed of Tribe Called Quest, Dj Jazzy Jeff, Kid Koala, Mayor Hawthorne, Askillz, Krafty Kuts, Skratch Bastid, Fort Knox Five. Then, there’s The Hip Hop Legends Gaff's Promoted or opened up for: Jurassic 5, Common, Big Boi, Rahzel, Juice crew Members Masta Ace and Maestro Fresh Wes, Del the Funky Homosapien, Souls Of Mischief, Brother Ali, Aceyalone, Abstract Rude, Living Legends, and many many more. AVERSIVE: Since she began making her first tunes on a classic MPC 2000XL in 2006, Aversive has produced a kaleidoscope of sounds with the enthusiasm and grit of a true visionary. Drum & Bass music being her passion, she has stopped at nothing to avert the masses from the humdrum of ordinary soundscapes, paving her own path of sonic ingenuity. Aversive has had over a dozen signed releases with ground breaking labels such as Dutty Bass Audio (Toronto, CAN), MalLabel Music (USA), Black Tuna Recordings (CAN), The Outtallectual Collective (UK), Visionary Shamanic Records (UK), and The Glitch Shop (UK). She has DJ'd since 2011 at electronic music festivals and venues across Western Canada, as well as internationally in Costa Rica. She has worked for the bass heavy Canadian sound system company PK Sound at Shambhala Music Festival's Village stage. Now she is a member of the North America wide collective the DnB Girls, and played the 1st DnB Girls Take-Over at the Village Stage at Shambhala 2023.
